The values behind the mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are very simple, we offer person-to-person support and service to anyone who is in need. We are the helping hand that puts a meal on a family’s table and makes sure the lights and heat stay on. Our generosity means that men, women, and children are clothed, that they have a bed – or needed furniture – or just a place to sleep. We are reaching out to those without hope and giving them the gift of a better tomorrow.
We serve over 3,000 families monthly with no distinction to religious affiliation and offer individual help to every ethnic and cultural group.
Christmas at the Monastery is benefitting Shop with a Cop .
Cochise County’s “Shop with a Cop” is an annual holiday outreach program pairing children from low-income families with local law enforcement for a supervised shopping trip at major retailers like Walmart.
The program is organized by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office and partners with local retailers.
The Shop with a Cop initiative is a community outreach effort that connects children-in-need with law enforcement for a funded shopping experience. Officers help kids select gifts, stay within a budget, and learn about responsible spending. Kids develop a trusting relationship with law enforcement.
